Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement processes and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role requires a proactive approach to sourcing, contract management, negotiations, and vendor relationship management. The Procurement Coordinator will work closely with internal teams to identify the needs and support project execution while maintaining compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement activities and ensure alignment with company policies and objectives.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential suppliers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor and evaluate suppliers’ performance to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of procurement budgets and financial plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement-related documents and transactions.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand and address procurement needs and requirements.
  • Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for vendor interactions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Familiarity with legal and contractual terms related to procurement is preferred.
