About The Job

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Draftsman (CAD Specialist) to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll transform architectural concepts and project requirements into accurate, construction-ready drawings within a fast-paced design environment.

You’ll collaborate closely with architects, designers, engineers, and project managers on residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects while ensuring precision, efficiency, and compliance with project standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is essential, along with strong skills in technical documentation, drafting, and space planning.

What Youll Do

  • Analyze architectural drawings, project briefs, client specifications, and technical requirements to support project development.
  • Produce precise CAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and other construction documentation for architectural and interior design projects.
  • Ensure all drawings and technical documents meet company standards, applicable building regulations, and industry guidelines.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and project managers to resolve technical concerns and help keep projects on track.
  • Apply drafting principles, construction knowledge, and space-planning concepts to deliver practical and accurate design solutions.
  • Detect and address inconsistencies, clashes, or technical issues within drawings and related documentation.
  • Create, modify, and maintain 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook for project tracking, reporting, scheduling, and communication.
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to process improvements related to drafting practices, documentation, and project coordination.

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in drafting, engineering support, or order processing within construction, manufacturing, or similar industries.
  • Solid knowledge of building systems, construction processes, and drafting standards.
  • Experience in custom manufacturing or fabrication environments is an advantage.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good analytical, numerical, and spatial comprehension skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, particularly in explaining technical concepts clearly.
  • Self-sufficient, resourceful, and capable of solving problems independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a solution-driven and critical-thinking mindset.
