An Administrative Assistant is a vital part of any office environment, functioning as the backbone of operations. Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or personnel.
  • Organize and maintain paper and electronic files for easy access and retrieval.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements efficiently.
  • Greet and assist office visitors with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Prepare reports, memos, letters, and other documents as needed and instructed.
  • Monitor and order office supplies to ensure inventory is stocked and available.
  • Maintain office equipment, arranging repairs when necessary to ensure functionality.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of internal communications and emails.
  • Support team projects by providing administrative assistance where needed and applicable.
  • Update and maintain office policies as necessary to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate effective communication by acting as the liaison between departments.
  • Track and report on key department metrics related to administrative performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar office role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities for managing various tasks.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
  • Professional demeanor with a friendly, courteous, and approachable demeanor.
