About The Job

The Training Supervisor reports to the Training and Quality Manager and is responsible for the coordination of training and development within a company. A training supervisor assesses where training is most needed and conducts and supervises the training of employees and evaluates the effectiveness of the training provided. They are involved in designing and administering training programs, providing expertise in development design, identifying training needs, and providing recommendations on programs and activities. They guide managers and supervisors in developing training skills, deliver training programs, conduct staff training, maintain records, and provide participants with feedback.

What Youll Do

  • Develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and employee development.
  • Offer specialized guidance in creating effective training materials, modules, and strategies that enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship to trainers by offering constructive feedback, performance evaluations, and development goals aimed at enhancing the overall quality of training delivery and learner outcomes.
  • Assess and analyze organizational training requirements, recommending relevant programs and activities to address skill gaps and improve performance.
  • Facilitate training sessions for employees, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, impactful learning experiences.
  • Keep accurate records of training activities and outcomes, offering participants timely and constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
  • Support leadership teams by providing coaching and resources to enhance their ability to train and develop their teams effectively.
  • Lead the implementation and delivery of training programs, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Address and resolve training-related challenges and issues at all levels, ensuring swift and effective resolution to maintain training quality.
  • Analyze training processes to identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies, continuously enhancing the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging best practices, recommending ongoing learning opportunities to ensure staff remains up to date with current developments in their field.

What Youll Bring

  • 5 years total work experience, with at least 2 years as a Training Supervisor
  • Proven ability to drive results, influence performance, and lead a team toward excellence
  • Outstanding knowledge of learning theories, adult learning principles, facilitation techniques, and training methodologies
  • Certification in Training Management or related fields is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Passionate about teaching, facilitation, and public speaking
  • Experience working both independently and collaboratively within diverse teams
  • Skilled in coaching individual and team performance, with knowledge of various coaching styles and frameworks
  • Experience in managing vendors and/or stakeholder relationships
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and proactive, with strong planning and execution skills
  • Customer-obsessed mindset, with the ability to connect training outcomes to customer experience
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and high ethical standards
  • Ability to manage, influence, and communicate with various groups and personality types
  • Strong analytical mindset; able to use Quality insights or performance data to improve training outcomes (new to complement the Quality requirement)
  • Knowledgeable in QA methods and principles is a plus
