Job Description
Ensure strict adherence to all national and local environmental laws, regulations, and OSH standards. Ensure all applicable permits and licenses are valid and renewed on time.
Assess environmental health and safety risks & opportunities, aspects & impacts, standards and regulations and advise any potential impacts to internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare and submit required regular environmental and safety reports and documentation to regulatory agencies on time.

Oversee proper handling, segregation, storage, treatment, and disposal of solid and hazardous wastes.
Formulate, implement, and monitor comprehensive OSH programs tailored to the workplace, in accordance with DOLE standards and company policies. This includes programs for hazard prevention and control, emergency preparedness, and health promotion.
Systematically identify workplace aspects and hazards, assess risks and impacts, and develop appropriate control measures. Regularly review and update the HAIRIAC registry.
Periodically inspect premises, machinery, equipment, tools, and work methods to ensure compliance with OSH standards and identify unsafe conditions or practices. Document findings and recommend corrective actions.
Determine the appropriate PPE for various tasks, ensure its availability, proper use, maintenance, and regular inspection.
Maintain comprehensive records of ESH activities, including inspections, training, incidents, medical examinations, and compliance reports.
Deliver mandatory EHS orientations for new employees, provide regular safety briefings (e.g., toolbox talks), and conduct specialized training on specific hazards, procedures, and equipment and environmental regulations.
Leads in ESH Committee meetings, discussing environmental and safety performance, addressing concerns, and planning future initiatives.
Conduct thorough investigations of all workplace accidents, near misses, occupational diseases, and dangerous occurrences to determine root causes.
Create and regularly update emergency preparedness and response plans (e.g., fire, earthquake, medical emergencies, chemical spills).
Plan and execute emergency drills (fire drills, evacuation drills) to ensure that employees are aware of procedures and can respond effectively
Facilitate and cooperate with government DOLE inspections, ensuring all required documents and information are provided.
Performs EHS audit aligned to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Do other related task as may be assigned by Superior.
Requirements/Qualifications
Must be an accredited Pollution Control Officer of DENR and/or LLDA.
Preferably a DOLE-accredited Safety Practitioner, or a Safety Officer 3
Must be a certified Radiation Protection Officer
Knowledgeable in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 system establishment and implementation.
Knowledgeable in fire safety, first aid, rescue, pollution control and emergency preparedness and response principle
Thorough understanding of applicable Environmental and OSH laws and business operations in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Hazard and Aspect Identification, Risk and Impact Assessment and Control (HAIRIAC) skills
Accident/ Incident Investigation skills
