Job Description

The Licensed Chemist will manage all laboratory-related activities supporting semiconductor assembly processes. This role ensures compliance with Philippine Chemistry Law (RA 10657), maintains product quality, and upholds safety and environmental standards.

  • Plan, perform, and interpret chemical analyses
  • Supervise bath make up and replenishment
  • Maintain and manage analytical laboratory operations such as reagent prep, equipment calibration, and maintenance
  • Validate laboratory methods and maintain analytical documentation
  • Monitor chemical parameters for process control and quality assurance
  • Perform troubleshooting of the analysis equipment like ancholyzer, CVS and Metrohm autotitrator
  • Implement quality assurance and chemical safety programs
  • Oversee and train technical personnel, including chemical technicians
  • Interface with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits
  • Ensure compliance with the Chemistry Law (RA 10657) and related regulations

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field
  • Valid PRC license as a Registered Chemist (required by RA 10657)
  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in analytical chemistry or manufacturing laboratory work; semiconductor experience preferred
  • Proficiency in analytical instruments
  • Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety standards
