Roles & Responsibilities

An established listed investment holding that is currently going through an exciting evolution, is seeking for a change management finance leader to partake and assist in this transition.

As a Financial Controller, you oversee the Finance team across the full spectrum of accounting and financial function. However you will be tasked the FP&A, Corporate Finance and Treasury, Tax structuring, Compliance and Cashflow Management. Other than, you will be heavily involved in statutory group reporting and compliance, including the preparation and review of Annual Report, and corporate governance documentation. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you are highly visible to the Board and confident in stakeholder engagement, to prepare, review, and finalise board papers for Audit Committee (AC) and Board meetings, including; quarterly results and decks, financial results, real estate valuation announcements, and accounting treatment memos, presenting quarterly financial results, auditor engagement matters, and compliance updates to the Audit Committee and Board.

Treasury Management, Financial Planning And Analysis

  • Overall responsibility for driving the various business functions to ensure delivery of annual budgets
  • Working with Group Treasury to ensure optimal cash management, FX, and interest rate hedging
  • Perform financial and sensitivity analysis on existing portfolio to meet the investment holdings requirements
  • Ensuring loan, audit, tax, and any other statutory compliance

Capital/Tax Structuring And Financing

  • Leading the capital and tax restructuring for divestments
  • Driving and negotiating the asset financing / refinancing portfolio, build strategic partnerships with banks, tax consultants, lawyers etc. for accounting, treasury and loan financing matters

You should possess;

  • Degree in Accounting and CA / CPA with a minimum of 15 years relevant working experience
  • Real estate industry and/or project investment holding company experience.
  • Savvy in corporate finance, treasury, tax structuring and stakeholders management.
  • Experienced in SGX reporting is a plus
