This is a full-time, grant-funded position for 12 months. Hiring of this position is subject to the award of the grant.

About This Role

The Field Coordinator is responsible for the overall operational management, coordination, and implementation of the " supporting peacebuilding through strengthening essential health and nutrition, WASH and education services for vulnerable children and adolescents in Maguindanao and Cotabato City, BARMM " project activities within their assigned region. The Field Coordinator acts as the crucial link between the ChildFund Country Office, the local implementing partner (FACE inc. or Ha Uman), and local stakeholders, including the DOH Center for Health Development (CHD), Provincial and Municipal Health Offices. This role ensures that the project is implemented efficiently and effectively to achieve its targets, working in close collaboration with the technical specialists and field teams

Required Experience And Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, or other allied medical fields.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in public health program management, preferably in immunization or maternal and child health.
  • Excellent technical writing, data analysis, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively within government structures and with a wide range of partners.
  • Proficiency in general office software.

Primary Roles And Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Implementation: Lead the day-to-day management of the project work plan in the assigned region, ensuring activities such as LGU microplanning, program reviews, and capacity-building training are completed on schedule and to a high standard.
  • Advocacy and Networking: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with DOH CHD, PHOs, MHOs, LGU officials, and other key stakeholders. Lead advocacy efforts with LGUs to integrate gender-responsive immunization plans into their Annual Investment Plans (AIPs).
  • Coordination and Support: Work in close coordination with the Senior Social Mobilizer and the regional DOH Health Program Officer to ensure harmonized field implementation. Provide operational support to all field teams.
  • Training and Capacity Building: Oversee the logistical and technical rollout of training for health workers, supervisors, and community leaders on topics such as gender-responsive health governance and supportive supervision.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Oversee the collection of field-level data, ensure its quality, and submit timely and accurate progress reports to the Project Manager. Conduct regular monitoring visits to project sites to assess progress and provide support.
