Job Description

Responsible for maintaining and analyzing wafer probe yield data, identifying and improving low-yield issues, and coordinating with Test

Engineering, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Fab Engineering to address design, test, and process-related yield losses. Leads

continuous improvement efforts, sets statistical yield limits (Scrap, SBL, RMA), and ensures data integrity and availability.

  • Evaluate root cause of wafer level yield loss, identify root cause of low yield (tester, defect, parametric - feedback to FAB or Product Engineer as required.
  • Perform bitmap & electrical analysis to determine root cause of an issue
  • Review test program releases.
  • Review yield trends to identify Low yield lots.
  • Expedite and track critical wafers & lots through probe (experiments, prototypes, MRB)
  • Disposition lots on hold.
  • Analyze split lots for tool expansion – write summary report
  • Train and assist Trainees, Technicians and new Engineers.
  • Identify and work with probe engineering on tester, probe and Hardware issues thru data analysis.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • BS Engineering degree (EE preferred) or other related course
  • 0-3 years related experience on semiconductor manufacturing
  • Experience in semiconductor process and test.
  • Knowledge in electronics and related subjects.
  • Good command in English both write and speaking.
  • Problem solving skills – analyze data using statistical data analysis tools, understanding risk, making decisions.
  • Good people skills - Listening, communication, mentoring and negotiations
