Job Description

The Engineering Technician is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and plant utility systems such as refrigeration, compressed air, power distribution, and steam systems to ensure efficient and reliable operations.




  • Provides technical services required for the installation, commissioning, and modification of production, utility, and support equipment.
  • Gathers and documents equipment specifications including model, serial number, capacity, and power rating for preventive maintenance programs and equipment history records.
  • Conducts regular preventive and predictive maintenance activities, including condition monitoring, and prepares basic reports and graphical data for performance analysis and benchmarking.
  • Performs corrective maintenance and basic root cause analysis of equipment failures to improve reliability and maintenance effectiveness.
  • Implements and/or recommends continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, efficiency, and availability.
  • Ensures all production and utility systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, SOPs, and maintenance best practices.
  • Prioritizes safety in all work activities, ensuring the protection of personnel, materials, equipment, and company property to prevent workplace incidents.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Graduate of any Engineering or Technical course, preferably Electrical Engineering Technology or Industrial Technology (Electrical).
  • Preferably with Electrical NC II certification or equivalent technical training.
  • With at least six (6) months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledgeable in electrical troubleshooting of production equipment, building wiring, motor controls, and power systems.
  • Experience or exposure to utility systems such as refrigeration, boilers, air compressors, and wastewater treatment facilities is an advantage.
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift at least 20 kg.
  • Must possess strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Must be willing to work in Danao, Cebu. (Full Onsite)
