Embedded Software Design Engineer Global Support

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Embedded Software Design Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded software solutions for automotive drive systems. In this role, you will contribute to the development of reliable, safe, and high-quality software compliant with automotive standards while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software for BLDC, stepper, and DC motor applications using C/C++ on microcontroller platforms.
• Develop and support automotive communication interfaces.
• Integrate software on target hardware and support system integration activities.
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions based on test results.
• Contribute to software architecture definition and maintain internal design documentation.
• Apply automotive software development standards and ensure compliance with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and MISRA C/C++ guidelines.
• Create and maintain customer-facing software documentation.
• Review and support unit, integration, testing, and validation activities.
• Participate in software design and code reviews, project meetings, and technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, system, and test engineering teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within projects and processes.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in embedded software development
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++
• Knowledge of microcontrollers and automotive communication interfaces
• Familiarity with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and MISRA standards
• Experience with version control systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English
