About This Role
In close liaison with the Project Officer-Education for ECD, the Senior Community Mobilizer will be responsible for engaging and mobilizing communities to participate in expanding the reach for Alternative Learning System delivery in his/her area of assignment (i.e., Basilan, Tawi-Tawi, Maguindanao del Norte, and Maguindanao del Sur) through the Project “Supporting peacebuilding through strengthening essential health and nutrition, WASH and education services for vulnerable children and adolescents in Maguindanao and Cotabato City, BARMM” .
This role involves conducting community meetings, and collaborating with the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), provincial/municipal/barangay officials, parents and primary caregivers of young children, and community leaders to socialize importance of Early Childhood Development (ECD), particularly creating Local ECCD Coordinating Committees that will promote expanded ECD service coverage.
S/He will establish and maintain partnerships with key government agencies, community leaders, Child Development Workers, and other key stakeholders in the community.
