This is a full-time, grant-funded position for 12 months. Hiring of this position is subject to the award of the grant.

About This Role

The M&E Officer is responsible for leading the design and implementation of the projects M&E framework. This role will ensure that project performance is systematically tracked, data is of high quality, and results are reported accurately and on time to support adaptive management and accountability

Required Experience And Education

  • Bachelors degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in M&E for development or health projects.
  • Strong skills in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Proficiency in M&E software and data visualization tools is an advantage

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the projects results framework and develop M&E tools for data collection.
  • Train project staff and partners on M&E tools and processes.
  • Oversee all data collection efforts, ensuring data is collected, verified, and entered into the project database in a timely manner.
  • Lead the analysis of project data against performance indicators (e.g., FIC rates, training completion, LGU budget allocation).
  • Prepare M&E sections of progress reports for UNICEF and other stakeholders.
  • Provide technical oversight for the projects baseline assessment
  • Remain alert and responsive to any safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Safeguarding Policy.
