Community Integrated Care is one of the
UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enriching the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.
Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of
‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy
‘Best Lives Possible’.
We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards!
We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by
investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.
We are a group of adults aged 18-60 who each have our own personalities, goals, and support needs, including learning disabilities, autism, ADHD and physical support needs. What we all have in common is that we want to be in control of our lives, learn new things, and have people around us who treat us with respect, kindness, and patience.
We are looking for Support Workers who will get to know
each of us as individuals—what we enjoy, what matters to us, and how we want to be supported. The right person will help us build independence, celebrate our achievements, and support us to make choices every day.
We enjoy a wide range of activities, and the best support workers are those who join in with enthusiasm. Some of us love going out for food or spending time at the pub. Others enjoy arts and crafts, planning days out, or exploring new places in the community. Some of us will try anything once and love big adventures; others enjoy quieter moments in the communal lounge watching films, listening to music or chatting together. We also take part in exciting voluntary opportunities such as major sporting events, and we’d love staff who can help us continue to find new experiences.
Our home is a modern, spacious building with 14 flats where each of us has our own space and privacy. We live on a friendly cul‑de‑sac in Hindley with plenty of parking. There is a strong, supportive team here—usually at least seven staff on shift—and our manager is often on site to help.
You’ll work shifts such as 8-8 or 8-10, with flexibility to meet everyone’s needs. What matters most is that you show up with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. We’ll help you with the rest. Full training is provided, along with reflective sessions where staff can share ideas and continue improving how they support us.
If you’re someone who enjoys variety, values people for who they are, and wants to make a meaningful difference every day, we would love to welcome you into our team.
