Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Geologist to join our site-based geology team on an 8/6 roster FIFO from Perth. Reporting to the Senior Geologist, you will support grade control and production activities including mapping, sampling, logging, data management, and reporting, while working closely with mining teams to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role is ideal for a proactive graduate looking to gain hands-on mining experience and develop their technical skills.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Daily production requirements, such as ore spotting and geological data management.
• Exposure to ore stockpile management.
• Mapping and face sampling.
• Supervision of drilling programs and liaising with mining contractors.
• Report writing and presentation, generation of maps and plans, collate and present our data.
• Utilise site QA/QC systems and document data.
• Exposure to drill design, geological interpretation, block models and estimations.
• Exposure and opportunity to learn mining software, such as Vulcan, acQuire and Leapfrog.
• Assist in all areas of production, mining and surveying.
  
  

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Geology.
• Intermediate to advanced level MS Office Suite.
• Valid WA C class manual drivers license.
• National Police Clearance required.
