About The Role

The Logistics /Production Planner is responsible for:

• Planning and allocating sales orders to loads for deliveries and planning production on machinery to meet these expectations.
• Planning stock (MTS) to ensure we stay ahead of customer demands.
• Communicating with production managers and sales staff when due dates or expectations aren’t going to be achieved with alternative proposals.
• Daily machine schedules, labour allocations, and manufacturing reporting.
  
  

Challenges & Problem Solving

• Maintaining customer requirements and responding with changes to support best-fit outcomes.
• Maximising the operator throughput while balancing customer demands.
• Schedules and plans
  

Decision-Making Authority

• Authority to plan operators inside standard operating hours, Additional staff or weekends will need to be approved by the production managers.
  

Requirements

Key Qualification

• Knowledge and Experience Required
• Prior experience in production and transport planning.
  

Professional Skills

• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Competent written and verbal communications.
• Interpersonal skills in dealing with customers of varying styles.
