Working under the direction of the South-Asia Head in the Regional Office, you will establish relationships with agent partners for recruiting and increasing quality of the student intake, by contributing to the improved speed of application turnaround and to generating improved conversion rates across SouthAsia ( India, SriLanka, Bangladesh and Nepal). You will begin exploration of other potential strategic partnerships with high-quality schools and universities, with respect to recruitment, collaborative research, and teaching.
Principal Accountabilities
Student Recruitment and Student recruitment support (main focus)
You will act as a single point of contact for all applications from schools/colleges/university partners in your respective region, passing applications on to the Admissions Office for processing.
You will undertake day-to-day/routine coordination of collaborative ventures (such as Study Abroad) with those colleges/universities in India and identify appropriate new college/university partners.
You will have responsibility for the generation of applications directly through these affiliated local Schools and subsequent management of these applications through to visa.
You will provide face-to-face, real-time phone or web-based counseling services to potential applicants and to those who have already applied.
You will organize the visit programme for incoming staff members from the International Office and/or Colleges who are visiting India on University business.
Essential
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Required
A three-/four-year Bachelor’s degree from higher education institutions or equivalent
Good knowledge of the higher education system and academic environment in India
Understanding of the motivation and criteria which influence students from the India in selecting their abroad study destinations
Familiarity in handling agent partners. Minimum 2-3 years of experience will help.

Good standard of written communication skills eg reports, letters
Excellent oral communication skills eg presentations, counselling interviews
Ability to work on own initiative, under pressure and progress tasks concurrently.
Good organisational and administrative skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, whether dealing with students, academic staff, agents or others i.e. capability to motivate, lead, negotiate, facilitate
Computer-literate: articulate, confident and competent in the use of the Internet, database systems, electronic communications
