Your Role And Responsibilities

As an Application Developer specializing in Open Source, you will develop, support, and maintain applications using open-source development platforms.

Responsibilities

You will utilize your expertise in open-source technologies to analyze and resolve issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Develop and Maintain Applications: Develop, support, and maintain applications using open-source development platforms such as C, C++, Perl, Python, Node JS, and Django, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet client needs.
• Analyze and Resolve Issues: Utilize expertise in open-source technologies to analyze and resolve issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to clients.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions, providing technical guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Provide Technical Guidance: Offer technical guidance and support to clients on open-source platform implementation, customization, and integration, ensuring seamless adoption and optimal usage.
  
  

• Exposure to Open-Source Development: Experience working with open-source development platforms such as C, C++, Perl, Python, Node JS, and Django, with the ability to develop, support, and maintain applications.
• Issue Analysis and Resolution: Exposure to analyzing and resolving issues using open-source technologies, with the ability to provide timely and effective solutions.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Experience working with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions, with the ability to provide technical guidance and support.
• Technical Guidance and Support: Exposure to providing technical guidance and support to clients on open-source platform implementation, customization, and integration.
• Implementation and Integration: Experience working with open-source technologies to implement and integrate solutions, with the ability to ensure seamless adoption and optimal usage.
• Open to work in any of IBM locations (Quezon City, Cebu).
• Should be amenable to work on a client dictated shift (day, mid, night).
  
  

• Open Source Customization: Exposure to customizing open source platforms such as Django, with the ability to tailor solutions to meet client needs.
• Advanced Issue Resolution: Experience working with open-source technologies to analyze and resolve complex issues, with the ability to provide timely and effective solutions.
• Cross-Platform Integration: Exposure to integrating open-source technologies with other platforms, with the ability to ensure seamless adoption and optimal usage.
