Hi! Were Smartsourcing, and were looking for a full-time, onsite Finished Artist to prepare and finalize design files for production. In this role, youll ensure all artwork is accurate, technically compliant, and print-ready—helping deliver high-quality outputs with precision and consistency.

About The Role

As a Finished Artist , it is to ensures that all artwork meets required specifications, including dimensions, resolution, color settings, and file formatting, maintaining consistency and quality across all outputs. The role plays a critical part in preventing production errors and ensuring smooth handoff to production teams. Operating as a technical specialist within the creative workflow, the role requires strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to resolve file-related issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

A. Artwork Finalization & File Preparation

• Prepare and finalize artwork for production
• Ensure correct dimensions, resolution, color settings (CMYK/Pantone), and formats
• Clean and validate files prior to release

B. Artwork Adaptation & Versioning

• Adapt designs across formats, sizes, and templates
• Maintain design integrity and brand consistency
• Prepare outputs for various platforms (print, digital, packaging)

C. Quality Assurance & File Review

• Perform detailed quality checks on design files
• Identify and resolve technical issues
• Ensure readiness for production

D. Technical Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

• Diagnose issues related to formatting, resolution, and compatibility
• Resolve technical production challenges
• Optimize file preparation processes

E. Collaboration & Production Coordination

• Work with designers, project managers, and production teams
• Communicate file requirements and technical adjustments
• Ensure smooth handoff to production

F. Documentation & Process Compliance

• Follow production standards and workflows
• Document file preparation processes where needed
• Ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards

G. Knowledge Sharing & Team Support

• Support designers with technical guidance
• Share best practices in file preparation
• Assist in improving team efficiency

H. Planning & Workload Management

• Manage multiple artwork files and deadlines
• Prioritize tasks based on urgency and requirements
• Ensure timely delivery of outputs

G. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Readiness and Digital Enablement

• Maintain baseline AI literacy relevant to their role, including the ability to understand, use, and evaluate AI-supported tools for work efficiency and decision-making.
• Use approved AI tools and digital systems in compliance with company policies, data privacy requirements, information security standards, and client confidentiality obligations.
• Apply sound judgment in AI use by validating outputs, avoiding overreliance, and ensuring accuracy, fairness, and professional accountability for all work delivered.
• Participate in required AI readiness trainings, upskilling programs, and continuous improvement initiatives as part of Smartsourcings innovation and learning culture.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement through automation, digitization, and responsible AI integration within their scope of work.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or related field
• Experience in graphic production, file preparation, or design support

Tools

• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; understanding of print/digital production workflows
