Job Description

The Head of HR is a pivotal leadership role within our organization responsible for ensuring that our human resources strategies align with the business's overall objectives. This senior position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resource management, a strong understanding of employment law, and a commitment to best practices in diversity and inclusion. The Head of HR will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement HR policies that foster a positive workplace culture and enhance employee satisfaction. This position acts as a change agent, anticipating HR trends and positioning the organization to respond effectively. The Head of HR will be instrumental in guiding strategic staffing decisions, performance management, and leadership development initiatives across the organization, ensuring that our workforce is equipped and motivated to deliver on our strategic goals.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract and retain top talent.
  • Design initiatives to enhance employee engagement and workplace satisfaction.
  • Oversee the development and administration of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify training needs and design talent development programs.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitive offerings.
  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership on strategic organizational matters.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture through targeted programs.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of HR processes to ensure best practices.
  • Lead performance management efforts including appraisals and feedback mechanisms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least ten years of experience in human resource management roles.
  • Proven track record of successful leadership in an HR department.
  • Expert knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Strong experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change initiatives effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
