Job Description

The Finance Manager position at 24J25 offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced financial professional to take charge of financial planning and analysis, budget management, and overall team leadership. As a Finance Manager, you will be required to oversee all financial operations, ensuring the company's financial health and profitability. This role suits a strategic thinker who can manage financial reporting accuracy, risk management, and compliance with regulations. You will work closely with senior management to develop financial strategies, make informed business decisions, and drive the company towards achieving its financial objectives. Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee financial planning processes to ensure corporate financial goals are met.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for review by senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial laws and guidelines, minimizing the risk of non-compliance.
  • Direct, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the finance department team members.
  • Manage the budgeting process, coordinating with various departments to forecast future financial outcomes.
  • Identify and analyze potential financial risks and suggest mitigation strategies to management.
  • Collaborate with auditors to ensure timely and accurate annual audits and address any discrepancies.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage capital investments, and optimize expenditures for cost efficiency.
  • Assist in developing financial strategies by providing insights and recommendations from financial analysis.
  • Implement and maintain financial systems and software to improve data accuracy and processing speed.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with banks, investors, and other financial partners.
  • Lead initiatives to improve financial policies, procedures, and business process efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of five years experience in a financial management role, demonstrating increasing responsibility levels.
  • Strong proficiency in financial management software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic financial plans and forecasts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Solid knowledge of financial reporting, tax regulations, and internal auditing procedures.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or similar qualification is preferred.
