Job Responsibilities

  • As directed by the Asst. Manager, Surv. Tech., the Supervisor, Surveillance Technical is responsible for the installation and maintenance of all CCTV equipment allocated to support Security, Surveillance and Gaming operations within the Casino environment. This position takes responsibility for provision of training; support and guidance to less experienced Technicians, and as required, will act in the role of Assistant Technical Manager, Surveillance.
  • Equipment Installation
    • Install new SAC and electronic equipment.
    • Installation of electronic cabling systems; primarily coaxial, data and power cables throughout complex as required.
    • Installation and termination of above to a high standard.
    • Apply appropriate testing to newly installed equipment to ensure sound functionality
  • Equipment Servicing, Fault Finding and Repairs
    • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to all SAC equipment used to support Security, Surveillance, PAGCOR and Gaming operations.
    • Employ effective fault-finding techniques to rectify equipment failure.
    • Ensure all repairs including all solder work is conducted properly and is of a superior quality.
  • Equipment Failure Response
    • On Call 24/7
    • Plan for appropriate response to equipment failure.
    • Evaluate and confirm reported failure.
    • Instigate repair or rectification of defective equipment.
  • Leadership and Initiative
    • Provide leadership and direction to Technical staff.
    • Show initiative and involvement in all activities undertaken by the Surveillance Technical team.
    • Undertake additional managerial duties in the absence of the Technical Supervisor.
  • Inventory and Stock Control
    • Ensure workshop stock and inventory levels are appropriately maintained and managed.
    • Maintain cost effective use of stock and inventory.
  • Team Goals and Objectives
    • Be a motivated and professional member of the Technical and Surveillance Team.
    • Actively participate in the allocation and completion of Team Goals.
    • Assist the Technical Team to accomplish set goals and objectives.
  • Confidentiality & Policy
    • Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters pertaining to company equipment, procedures and information.
    • Comply with all company policies, rules, regulations, procedures and department ethics.
    • Perform all duties in accordance with the highest professional standards at all times.
    • Recommend and/or execute management policies to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, discharge, re-assign, or discipline employees.
Qualifications

  • Technical experience with Security Access Control Systems required
  • Knowledge of windows based operating systems and all associated desktop hardware and software
  • Tertiary level
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills is essential
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and be able to interact with customers, and teammates and collaborate together to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Must be able to manage projects within the scope of responsibility, be able to prioritize project plans and deliverables, as well as be able to multi-task for multiple customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to learn new concepts, skills, and tools in a relatively short space of time.
  • Must be able to handle high pressure environments while keeping a smile and a good sense of humor.
  • Be able to identify, analyze and devise solutions to infrastructure system problems.
  • Must have effective communication skills including written, verbal, and listening.
  • Must be able to interact with clients, leadership, technical support, and operation personnel in a professional manner.
