The Microsoft 365 Architect leads the design, implementation and governance of scalable, secure, and compliant solutions for an organization using Microsoft 365 services. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, etc. to ensure optimal use of Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform and others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Microsoft 365 solutions tailored to business needs.
• Lead architectural design sessions and develop technical documentation.
• Ensure integration of Microsoft 365 services with existing systems.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to implementation teams.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory standards.
• Stay updated with Microsoft 365 features and licensing models.
• Support mergers and acquisitions activities as well as cross-tenant scenarios.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and others.
• Create process and end-user documentation.
• Work with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, QA Analysts, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects.
• Work directly with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs that can be implemented.
• Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solution.
• Support deployments or troubleshoot production issues outside of work hours and participate in an on-call rotation as-needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes
  
  

• 5+ years in a solutions architect role focused on Microsoft 365.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 components: Office 365, Intune, etc.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Strong knowledge of networking principles and device management.
• Excellent problem solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with ITIL or similar service management frameworks is a plus
• Understanding of Microsoft security and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certification to any M365 discipline is an advantage.
