As Senior Test Lead at InspireX, you will anchor our QA capability, combining hands-on technical and execution excellence with clear leadership of the testing function. You will set the standard for quality across our delivery teams, ensuring it is embedded early and consistently throughout the software development lifecycle.
Working closely with engineering, product, and client stakeholders, you will champion a shift-left mindset, proactively identifying risks and elevating quality standards from discovery through to release. Alongside leading test execution efforts, you will mentor and guide the QA team, fostering a high-performance culture while acting as a confident, trusted voice for our clients.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in software testing, with substantial experience managing complex testing activities.
Experience or a strong interest in hardware-software integration testing, including the validation of physical devices, firmware, or IoT components.
Strong practical involvement in testing activities, with expertise in Agile/Scrum environments.
ISTQB or equivalent level industry certification.
Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across various teams.
Detail-oriented with a steadfast focus on quality.
Nice to Have
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms.
Previous exposure to the AV industry or related fields.
Experience in testing for audio-visual systems and softwares, including integration testing, performance tests, regression tests and other related tests for software applications, web applications, websites, cloud and mobile apps.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Strategic Ownership: Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies encompassing manual and automated testing, performance assessments, and security validations.
Hands-on Test Execution: Maintain a strong presence in actual testing. Actively execute the full suite of testing activities, from manual testing and complex regression runs to writing automation scripts and troubleshooting deep-seated technical issues.
Collaborative Scoping & Estimation: Work with delivery leaders and the Pre-Sales and Solutions team during the discovery phase to accurately estimate testing efforts, define quality requirements and identify delivery risks early.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement: Work directly with client-side QA and project teams to align on quality standards, providing a clear and confident voice for InspireX’s delivery excellence.
Multi-Project Coordination: Design and execute strategies that enable the testing team to effectively handle multiple concurrent projects without compromising on quality or depth.
Risk Management & Communication: Lead communication across project teams to proactively identify technical risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership and People Management: Lead and mentor the QA team, combining hands-on guidance with people leadership responsibilities, including 1:1s, performance feedback, and development planning.
Building a Quality Culture: Work alongside Technical and Product Managers to drive an ongoing culture of quality throughout the InspireX delivery mechanism, championing a "Shift-Left" approach across the organization.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Architect and implement modern testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium and other relevant frameworks) that integrate seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines, shifting quality checks left and empowering teams to build with confidence.
