📝 The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Python Backend Engineer to join Indivd and own critical parts of our backend. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll shape core systems, make real technical decisions, and see your work in production quickly. You’ll work with a small, experienced team that values autonomy, trust, and getting things done.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Design and build scalable backend systems that power our product
• Develop and maintain APIs and core services
• Own system performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability
• Work closely with product and engineering to turn ideas into production-ready solutions
• Take full ownership of backend decisions from design to delivery
  
  

• 7+ years of professional backend engineering experience
• Strong proficiency Python
• Solid understanding of backend system design and APIs
• Experience working with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Comfortable working in Linux-based environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Fluent level of English (interviews will be held in English)
