As a Safety Marshal, you'll play a vital role in promoting a strong safety culture across airport operations by ensuring compliance with safety standards, identifying potential hazards, and helping maintain a safe working environment for employees, guests, and airline partners.

What is the Safety Marshal role?

The Safety Marshal supports the implementation of 1Aviation's safety programs by conducting safety inspections, monitoring operational compliance, and promoting safe work practices across airport operations. Working closely with the Safety Manager and Safety Officer, this role helps identify risks, prevent incidents, and foster a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.

✈️ What You'll Do

• Ensure that 1Aviation's Vision, Mission, and Values are achieved.
• Promote and ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, and Security standards based on regulatory requirements, government laws, industry standards, and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety rounds, ramp spot inspections, and operational observations to identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Perform routine flight walk-arounds to monitor compliance with operational safety requirements.
• Monitor employee behavior and operational activities to ensure adherence to established safety procedures and regulations.
• Assist in investigating workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses as directed by the Safety Manager or Safety Officer.
• Report safety observations, hazards, and operational concerns while recommending corrective and preventive actions.
• Promote awareness of safety policies and encourage proactive safety practices among employees.
• Support safety campaigns, drills, inspections, and other safety initiatives across airport operations.
• Collaborate with operational teams to help maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
• Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by the Safety Manager or Safety Officer.
  
  

✅ What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• Background in Airline or Airport Operations is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices and operational compliance is a plus.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced airport environment.
• Willing to conduct field inspections and work in operational areas.
