What This Role Is About

The Safety Marshal supports the implementation of 1Aviation’s Safety Management System (SMS) by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. This role conducts regular safety rounds, ramp spot inspections, and flight walkarounds to identify hazards, promote safe behavior, and mitigate operational risks. The Safety Marshal works closely with the Safety Manager and Safety Officer in maintaining a strong safety culture across all operational areas.

What you will do

• Ensure that 1Aviation’s Vision, Mission, and Values are achieved
• Promote and ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, and Security standards based on regulatory requirements, government laws, acceptable industry standards, and company policies and procedures
• Conduct regular safety rounds and ramp spot inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Perform routine flight walkarounds to monitor compliance with operational safety standards
• Observe employee behavior to ensure adherence to safety rules, procedures, and regulations
• Assist in the investigation of incidents and accidents as directed by the Safety Manager or Safety Officer
• Report safety hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions in a timely and accurate manner
• Support safety initiatives and programs that promote awareness and proactive risk management
• Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by the Safety Manager or Safety Officer
  
  

What we’re looking for

Qualifications & Experience

• Must be a college graduate of any course
• Background in airline or airport operations is an advantage
