Your Role
The People Business Partner is a key strategic role that serves as a consultant and advisor to the business unit, directly aligning people-related practices with operational goals. Moving from a generalist People and Culture (P&C) function, this role is now embedded in a matrix structure to be the primary partner for operational leaders. The PBP's core responsibility is to drive organizational effectiveness by translating business strategy into actionable people initiatives, while leveraging the specialized expertise of the People Strategy Centers of Excellence and the operational support of People Shared Services.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Strategic Advisory: Deep-dive into your assigned business unit's goals and KPIs to design a supportive people strategy. You'll handle proactive workforce planning, spot skills gaps, and help optimize team structures.
Driving Organizational Change: Act as a coach for operational managers on everything from performance management to building a great culture. You'll guide teams through structural transitions and roll out localized HR projects smoothly.
Employee Advocacy & Culture: Serve as the go-to person for handling complex, first-level employee relations. You will work closely with managers to keep morale high, build an engaging environment, and connect employees with talent development resources.
Operational Liaison: Ensure seamless HR delivery by partnering with our Shared Services team. You'll oversee localized touchpoints like virtual onboarding for WFH teams, contract amendments, account-specific policy/NDA drafting, clinic/APE scheduling, training bonds, temporary job assignments (TJA), and attendance processing.
Data-Driven Choices: Use HR metrics and monthly reports to spot organizational issues and give leadership evidence-based solutions.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of progressive experience in an HR generalist or HRBP role, ideally in a fast-paced environment. Experience navigating a matrix structure is a massive plus.
A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
A solid grasp of business principles and an in-depth understanding of Philippine labor laws and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into strategy. You should be an excellent communicator who can build rapport quickly, resolve conflicts constructively, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
