As a Meter Reading Inspector, you will be responsible for on-site resolution of customer complaints,special readings and load listing activities to ensure all customer complaints assigned are acted within schedule for customer satisfaction. You will also support the integrity of metering data through proper documentation, inspection, and compliance with established operational standards. You will work closely with the Metering Support team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

• Performing and conducting on-site inspections for high consumption complaints, including meter reading verification for demand accounts and net metering customers to ensure billing accuracy.
• Executing special meter readings requested by customers (e.g., disconnection or move-out) to support proper computation of final bills.
• Preparing detailed field verification reports for all inspections conducted, ensuring accurate documentation of findings and actions taken.
• Participating actively in Safety Excellence (SE) initiatives and promoting adherence to safety standards in all field activities.
• Supporting the implementation of 5S practices in the workplace, including maintaining orderliness and cleanliness in service vehicles and work areas.
• Investigating aging unbilled accounts to identify issues and facilitate timely resolution.
• Serving as back-up support for team members during absences or leave to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Conducting field testing on both power and non-power metering accounts to validate meter functionality and performance.
• Performing audits and inspections of metering installations, including field wiring, instrument transformers, and related configurations.

Education & Experience

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree Holder
• Must have a professional driver’s license
  
  

Technical / Functional Skills

• Ability to perform meter reading verification and validation for demand and net metering accounts.
• Skilled in analyzing meter data, including basic load consumption checks and discrepancy identification.
• Experience in preparing accurate field inspection and verification reports.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting metering issues and investigating unbilled or irregular consumption accounts.
• Knowledge of safety practices, field procedures, and proper use of testing tools and equipment.
