Job Summary:

The IT Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for managing the Business Warehouse including Extraction, Modelling, and Query design and documentation. This includes designing, coding, testing, and system enhancements. This position provides technical advisement to support project initiatives while maintaining system integrity.  

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Developing BW extractors, Master Data, DSOs, Cubes, Composite Providers, Open Hub Extracts, creating complex chains and monitoring data loads to provide the organization with data insights for report design and report development


• Maintain the SAP BW full life cycle development experience from design through implementation and production support including managing new and existing BW projects and/or being part of project team


• Work with Security and Basis team to provide necessary authorization and roles required for users to access reports.


• Translate functional business requirements into detailed technical specifications


• Ensure validation of software solutions through user acceptance testing (UAT).


• Develop efficient and accurate automated processes and procedures to support the business operations.


• Participate in the development of system and design documentation for requirements, operating environment, architecture of system & sub systems.

Requirements:

• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. 


• Bachelors degree in a technical areas such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business. Equivalent training and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree


• At least 7 years of documented experience in a similar position


• Previous experience with SAP S/4 HANA is preferred

Additional Skills:

• Detailed understanding of reporting technology and delivery methods to include Cloud and SaaS solutions


• Strong understanding of and experience with data reporting in a manufacturing environment, to include processes and terminology understanding.


• Strong analyitical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.


• Commitment to quality and achieving results that are oriented to detail and task completion.


• Strong customer service abilities and abilities to interact with professionalism, composure, and empathy.


• Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills to be leveraged across virtual platforms and in-person.

• Ability to work efficiently with team members from different geographical locations and expertise backgrounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
