IBM Maximo Architect

Introduction

We are looking for a seasoned Maximo Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise asset management solutions using IBM Maximo. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience with Maximo architecture, integrations, and customizations. You will play a key role in ensuring system performance, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As an Architect in IBM Consulting, youll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. Youll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.

Youll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements, constraints of the system and concerns of the various stakeholders to systematically transform detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end Maximo architecture, covering infrastructure, integrations, and customizations
• Lead technical discussions and provide expert guidance on Maximo best practices
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including architecture diagrams and technical specifications
• Ensure optimal system performance, security, and scalability across Maximo environments
• Support implementation, upgrades, and troubleshooting of Maximo systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs
  
  

• Proven experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management (version 7.x or MAS)
• Strong understanding of Maximo architecture, BIRT reporting, and integration frameworks such as REST, SOAP, and MIF
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, and Maximo configuration/customization
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
  

• Experience in leading Maximo implementations or upgrades
• Familiarity with performance tuning and security best practices in Maximo environments
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools relevant to Maximo deployments
• Exposure to cloud-based Maximo solutions or hybrid architectures
