Job Purpose
Lead and supervise a team of Shipment Planners supporting Nike GEOs. Ensure full compliance with Infor Nexus shipment planning rules and drive continuous process improvement. Collaborate closely with KN origin stations and the control tower to ensure accurate and timely shipment plan execution. Support the Global Shipment Planning Manager in driving operational performance within the Cebu team. Ensure the team delivers service levels aligned with agreed customer and operational requirements.
Main Responsibilities
Serves as the first point of contact for escalations.
Serve as direct contact point between local SSC team and ISC control tower managers.
Trains new hires and ad-hoc topics where needed.
Understands new tasks that are migrated and ensures instructions are understood by the team. Performs daily quality checks to ensure high level of work quality and productivity.
Conducts timely coaching/feedback to staff for performance improvements.
Conducts regular performance reviews.
Review / analyze individual team performance and reports any issues/feedback to the manager. Conduct regular review of teams utilization (manpower resources).
Manage team attendance.
Ensure full compliance with shipment planning standards across the global network.
Actively monitor daily shipment plans to guarantee accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for exceptions to shipment plan rules.
Manage shipment planning teams supporting key accounts such as Nike and Under Armour. Provide training and capability-building programs for Cebu SP and origin teams to strengthen shipment planning expertise.
Track and evaluate team performance across all platforms, ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes.
Identify risks within shipment planning operations and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all shipment planning processes, leveraging data insights and best practices.
Review, enhance, and create detailed work instructions for customer shipment planning platforms to promote consistency and process adherence.
Attend external training sessions related to customer initiatives, new projects, or system implementations impacting shipment planning operations.
Support the Global Operational Key Account Manager (GOKAM) and iTMS Project Manager in activities related to shipment planning optimization and system improvement.
Participate in customer meetings focused on shipment planning to ensure alignment on operational requirements, timelines, and capacity expectations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field
With leadership/management experience
Minimum 2 years work experience in Sea Logistics
Preferably with 2-5 years retail experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office especially Excel
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Analytical & Solution‑Driven Mindset
