Job Purpose

Utilize the Import Quotation Request dashboard that identifies shipments that do not have quotations auto allocated by in SeaLOG to proactively follow-up and amend the quotation so that the quotation is valid for the time of billing.

Your Responsibilities

• The candidate must be able to identify missing details in a quotation from a dashboard, follow up with the quote owners. Update quotes in QTSea/SeaQuote.
• Own and lead the continuous improvement of the Import Quotation Accuracy process by analyzing root causes and trends.
• The candidate becomes involved in the financial process of a shipment by ensuring the missing details from a quotation is found and updated.
• Lead the strategy for improving First‑Time‑Right quotation allocation and maintaining a database of RFQ rate cards.
  
  

Your Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related fields.
• Equivalent work experience may substitute for formal education
• Strong understanding of logistics or freight forwarding processes, including ocean/air freight pricing, tariffs, and surcharges.
• Familiarity with rate management systems, quoting tools, and CRM platforms.
• Good knowledge of Incoterms, basic trade documentation, and cost components.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, particularly with:
• VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Pivot tables
• Data validation
• Basic formulas for cost breakdowns
• High attention to detail; ability to identify outdated rates, errors, or mismatches.
• Strong analytical skills for reviewing quotes, pricing structures, and validity dates.
• Ability to evaluate cost changes and ensure accuracy before revalidating quotations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Mindset for delivering accurate and timely quotations to internal and external customers.
• Professional approach in supporting sales teams and maintaining service reliability.
• Experience using: Rate management systems (e.g., CargoWise, KN FreightNet, Salesforce, or in-house tools), ERP or logistics platforms
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
• Ability to review incomplete or unclear quotation details and resolve issues.
• Proactive approach in identifying potential cost changes or expired vendor rates.
