Your Role
You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across the Customs BU and sharing best practices across the whole organization.This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities
To review and analyse the feasibility of current systems and processes in the Customs Business Unit
Understand where inefficiencies are and proactively suggest & implement ideas to improve
Create enhanced processes and introduce were applicable suitable new systems. Test, implement, measure of enhancement and review the success of any changes made
Introduce standardisation and automation where possible to Customs Business Unit
Introduce and implement new processes or new systems and manage the implementation to both Customs Business Unit and stakeholder countries as necessary
Design and implement data/productivity analysis tools to record and assess department performance, adherence to KPIs and SLAs and to identify improvement opportunities.
Train and support new users of the newly designed system and processes.
Document working instructions and process and procedures
Liaise with corporate/global team, SZ manager, team managers, RPA etc and team leaders to drive business improvements and ensure alignment of a common goal.
Your Skills And Experiences
Essential:
Degree in Customs Administration, Engineering, IT, Project Management
Continuous Improvement experience and knowledge of the methodology and techniques
Logistics experience in airfreight, sea freight, road freight or customs
Fluency in English (both Verbal & Written)
Highly proficient in JSM, Tableau, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Customer Focus
Effective Communication
Manages Complexity
Desirable:
At least 3 years' experience in a similar position in the past
Project management experience
Preferable to have excellent Supply Chain understanding
Masters/Second Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Economic or Business
Leadership experience
Builds Networks
Influences and motivates
Plans & Aligns
