Job Responsibilities

  • Under the general guidance and supervision of the Marketing Communications Specialist, and within the limits of established Corporate/Sales policies and procedures, responsible for creating visually appealing and on-brand graphics and designs for various marketing materials, both print and digital. Possesses creativity and attention to detail which is a crucial role in enhancing the hotels visual identity, promoting its brand, and attracting guests. Promotes the desired work culture around the core values of the company.
  • Creates eye-catching designs for a wide range of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, banners, advertisements, menus, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Develops visually engaging layouts, illustrations, and graphics that effectively communicate key messages and enhance the hotels brand image and identity.
  • Ensures all designs are aligned with the hotels branding guidelines, style standards, and visual aesthetics to maintain consistency and brand integrity across all materials.
  • Produces digital assets for the hotels online presence, including website graphics, social media posts, email templates, digital advertisements, and multimedia content.
  • Designs engaging and responsive web graphics, banners, and visuals to enhance the user experience and drive traffic and engagement on the hotels website and social media platforms.
  • Collaborates with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and visual elements for digital marketing campaigns, promotions, and special events.
  • Prepares print-ready files and specifications for various print materials, ensuring proper color management, resolution, and file formats for optimal print quality.
  • Coordinates with external vendors, printers, and suppliers to oversee the production process, review proofs, and ensure timely delivery of printed materials.
  • Maintains inventory of printed materials and promotional items, including brochures, business cards, stationery, and branded merchandise, and reorders as needed.
  • Captures high-quality photographs of hotel facilities, amenities, events, and guest experiences for use in marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
  • Retouches, edits, and enhances images using photo editing software to achieve desired visual effects, composition, and color correction.
  • Organizes and maintains a digital asset library of photos, graphics, and design elements for easy access and reuse across marketing projects.
  • Collaborates closely with the marketing team, including marketing managers, copywriters, and digital marketers, to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders, departments, and external partners to understand project requirements, provide updates, and solicit feedback throughout the design process.
  • Presents design concepts, mockups, and prototypes to stakeholders. Gathers feedback, and incorporates revisions to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Work Experience – Three (3) years of related work experience in the hotel industry.
  • Educational Background - Bachelors degree or diploma in graphic design, visual communications, fine arts, or a related field.
  • Computer Literacy – MS Office, Internet
  • Special Skills/Licenses/Area of Expertise - Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as knowledge of design principles and techniques.
  • Core Competencies - Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and artistic ability, with a passion for design and a keen eye for aesthetics. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Work Experience - At least five (5) years of related work experience in the hotel industry.
