Job Description:
The Team Manager – is responsible for leading a team of professionals to deliver cost-effective sourcing strategies, ensure compliance with company policies, and drive value across indirect or direct procurement categories.
The Team Manager oversees the procurement lifecycle leading and developing a high-performing team. They ensure cost-effective, timely, and efficient support to the Global Indirect Sourcing team.
Ensuring compliance with all internal organizational requirements policies / procedures / to support all internal customers and to realize satisfaction of all internal and external customers.
Primary Responsibility:
Manage, mentor, and optimize team workload and capability; ensure balanced staffing and training
Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture aligned with company values.
Ensure alignment with global procurement policies and business objectives.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks proactively.
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver value-added solutions.
Communicate procurement strategies and performance metrics effectively.
Oversee end-to-end procurement—from purchase requisitions to receipt and invoice processing globally.
Set KPIs, review performance, provide coaching, and foster continuous improvement
Work with internal stakeholders—finance, legal, operations—to forecast procurement needs and ensure compliance across functions aligned to sourcing activities.
In country Management of procurement supporting internal stakeholders
Support cost savings and service level improvement without compromising on quality or cost across the sourcing organization
Establish & maintain global relationships with the business functions to maintain global purchasing strategies
Maintain all procurement records and documentation; oversee supplier audits in country where required
Ensure all activities meet legal, regulatory, and company policy standards
