Your Role as Floor Plan Artist

As a Floor Plan Artist, youll transform rough drafts and sketches into polished, professional floor plans. Beyond technical drafting, youll contribute to workflow improvements, collaborate with the team, and help maintain consistency and best practices across projects. Accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork are at the core of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Floor Plan Drafting

• Redraw and recreate residential and commercial floor plans, including site plans
• Ensure all drawings meet client specifications and style templates
• Accurately calculate area breakdowns where required
• Deliver visual clean, precise, and professionally rendered outputs
  
  

Quality Control

• Conduct thorough quality checks before submission
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies
• Maintain high standards of precision and consistency
  
  

Revisions & Collaboration 

• Implement revisions accurately and efficiently (within 2 hours or less)
• Provide feedback and guidance to team members when needed
• Actively participate in team discussions and training
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure accurate delivery
  
  

File Management & Reporting

• Organize, archive, and maintain accessible files
• Provide daily updates on progress and completed outputs
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to team leads
  
  

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Fine Arts, or related field
• Experience in floor plan drawing, CAD design, or real estate marketing (preferred)
• Experience documenting workflows and processes is an advantage
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or similar floor plan software
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings and spatial layouts
• Ability to convert sketches into clean, accurate floor plans
• Familiarity with 2D rendering techniques
• Knowledge of Photoshop (basic touch-ups)
• Experience using Google Sheets and Notion
