Job Description

Envi-comm Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draftsman to support our engineering and environmental teams. The Draftsman will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, layouts, and plans that align with project specifications and regulatory standards. This role is crucial to the planning and execution of our infrastructure and environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, site development plans, and schematics using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of construction and permit documentation.
• Maintain and update drawing files and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and project changes.
• Ensure that drawings meet environmental standards, zoning regulations, and safety codes.
• Conduct site visits as needed to verify dimensions and support ongoing project assessments.
  
  

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design and drafting software.
• Strong understanding of engineering, architectural, or environmental design principles.
• Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiar with national and local building codes and environmental regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Bachelor’s/College Degree or Technical/Vocational certification in Drafting Technology, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• At least 1–3 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
