Job Description

The Corporate Service Director leads and oversees the companys core support functions including Human Resources, Information Technology, Internal Audit, Business Process Improvement, and Marketing Support.

The role ensures that these departments operate efficiently and provide strong operational support to the companys sales, distribution, and after-sales operations.

This position is responsible for building and managing a high-performing shared services organization, driving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth through strong leadership, process improvements, and effective stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Shared Services Management

  • Lead and oversee multiple support departments including HR, IT, Audit, Business Process, and Marketing Support.
  • Ensure all support functions operate efficiently and deliver consistent services to business units.
  • Establish clear structures, processes, and performance standards for support teams.
  • Build and develop a strong leadership team across all service areas.


Operational Support & Business Alignment

  • Ensure support departments effectively assist the companys sales, operations, supply chain, and after-sales teams.
  • Improve coordination between support teams and operational departments to enhance business performance.
  • Drive initiatives that improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and internal collaboration.


Process Improvement & Performance Management

  • Establish and monitor KPIs, service levels, and operational benchmarks across support functions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and implement efficiency initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.


Risk, Compliance & Governance

  • Oversee internal audit, risk management, and compliance programs.
  • Ensure the company maintains strong internal controls and is prepared for internal and external audits.
  • Support leadership in managing operational risks and maintaining regulatory compliance.


Talent & Organizational Development

  • Work closely with HR to attract, develop, and retain key talents across the organization.
  • Champion leadership development, employee engagement, and culture initiatives.
  • Ensure strong succession planning and capability development within support functions.


Financial Oversight

  • Manage departmental budgets across support services.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources and drive cost optimization initiatives.
  • Support executive leadership in monitoring operational expenses and improving cost efficiency.


Qualifications:

Education

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field.

MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 10–15 years of leadership experience in corporate or shared services functions.
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing multiple departments.
  • Experience managing support functions within motorcycle, automotive, retail, FMCG, or distribution environments is highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting large multi-branch or nationwide operations is an advantage.

  • Strong strategic leadership and people management skills.
  • Solid understanding of shared services operations and corporate support functions.
  • Strong financial and operational management capability, including budget oversight and cost optimization.
  • Ability to work closely with senior leadership and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and execution capability in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
