Job Role Description:

You are an Independent IT Contractor & your mission is to Secure vulnerable WordPress sites by eliminating risks quickly and preventing hacks through automated protection.

What You’ll Do?

• Perform full WP security audits (core, plugins, themes)
• Remove malware, backdoors, injected scripts
• Harden login & admin access (2FA, CAPTCHA) and file permissions
• Implement WAF (Cloudflare, Wordfence)
• Deliver a “before vs after” security report
• Set up automated patching, backups, and alerts
• Configure firewall rules and bot protection
• Monitor uptime and suspicious activity

Requirements:

• Strong experience with WordPress internals
• Hands-on malware removal experience
• Familiarity with hosting environments (cPanel, SSH)
• Experience in automation tools + WP security
• Familiarity with cron jobs and monitoring tools
• Experience implementing automated security workflows on a live WordPress site.

• Wordfence, Sucuri, Cloudflare
• PHP basics (to trace malicious code)
• MySQL database cleanup
• Bash / PowerShell
• Cloudflare API
