As a Cage Assistant Manager, of Cage & Count you are responsible for the efficient management and effective operation of the cage in accordance with business objectives and the corporate vision
Responsibilities – How will you do this?
To assist Senior Cage Management with establishing the departmental business plan and setting Key Performance Objectives for the Casino Cage.
Assist with the development of operational requirements for the staffing levels in each of the Casino cages, identifying cost efficiencies on a day-to-day basis.
Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of business improvement processes which enhance operational systems efficiency.
Assist with the development, maintenance, and revision of policies and procedures pertaining to Cage operations. Ensure all duties are performed in strict compliance with relevant policies and procedures. i.e. Philippine Government (PAGCOR) regulations and Internal Control Statement (ICS) Universal Hotels Corporation. Also, Responsible Gaming and Anti-Money Laundering
Maintain awareness of and report on matters consistent with the compliance and risk management program.
Establish ongoing networks and relationships with relevant authorities and establish and maintain a strong rapport with our people and customers.
Assist in the control of the Casino’s flow of cash and chips and suggest the purchase of monies and chips as necessary.
Act as an ambassador to VIP guests and premium players, including providing personalized service regarding casino finance matters.
Perform all Cage-associated administrative duties as required, i.e., reporting and enforcing anti-money laundering policies and procedures and assisting Senior Cage Management with the preparation of various statistical data and reporting purposes.
Manage, coach and develop a direct rapport with staff to ensure performance and succession requirements are met, by identifying training requirements of our people and utilizing various management tools, as well as actively participating in the recruitment and selection of appropriate personnel.
To be successful, you’ll need
Experience.
Applicants must have at least 2 years’ experience within the Cage department.
Have a sound knowledge of banking laws and regulations associated with the Cage department.
Provide outstanding guest service by being consistently helpful and courteous to all guests.
Possess a flair for numerical and the ability to analyze complex information.
Must possess good knowledge of computers.
Must be able to perform shift duties and work on weekends and public holidays.
Education
Preferably with tertiary education or its equivalent job experience.
