Job Description

  • Support project ownership by assisting in managing the project’s schedule, cost, and budget. Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely delivery and cost control.
  • Lead coordination efforts with designers and construction teams on site, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Attend in client meetings, supporting communication with the Client’s Single Point of Contact (SPOC) or Client Owner, and liaising with the Client’s local team when required.
  • Assist in preparing weekly project reports that summarize schedule status, budget position, risks and mitigation strategies, project updates, and upcoming tasks.
  • Conduct site visits during construction to monitor progress, support contractor and vendor coordination (e.g., General Contractor, Interior Designers, Engineering Consultants, furniture suppliers), and escalate issues as needed.
  • Coordinate with the client and relevant stakeholders to ensure construction activities comply with site requirements and landlord regulations.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of project scheduling tools, such as Microsoft Project or Gantt Charts in Excel, to support planning and tracking.
  • Apply basic construction knowledge, particularly in fit-out works and general engineering design, to support technical discussions and decision-making.
  • Support procurement activities, including organizing bidding processes, assisting in bid evaluations, and preparing recommendations in line with standard procurement practices

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge in construction focusing on Mechanical and/or Electrical Scope - from installation, lead time, pricing, etc
  • Can read plans, site condition, and identify solutions on any conflicts identified - coming from a design firm background is a plus
  • Quantity Take off is a plus but should have a knowledge in checking the plans against to what has been delivered
  • Advanced knowledge on new technologies, innovations, integrations, on Mechanical and/or Electrical
  • COSH certified is a plus but basic knowledge in EHS related to the scope is a must
