About The Role

As a Logistics Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting logistics and transportation data to support operational efficiency, cost control, and strategic decision-making. The role ensures accuracy in logistics reporting, supports freight audit activities, and assists in financial processes, including GL coding, carrier remittance validation, and freight accrual analysis. This position helps maintain financial integrity and operational transparency, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting continuous improvement across logistics processes specific to the Parcel team.

What Youll Do

• Key Responsibilities
• Provide timely and accurate responses to recurring audit issues to both the customer and the carrier for ultimate resolution
• Familiar with different Parcel carriers, Service Levels, Service Types and their impact on the computation of rates.
• Understand the process in invoice validation, GL coding, and Billing reconciliation of the mock-up data for testing purposes during Onboarding (GL coding) and after customers have been set up in Production.
• Create and update carrier remittance verification and freight accrual analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex problems and improve the customer and carrier experience.
• Help mitigate client and carrier escalations by conducting root cause analysis and recommending improvements to the audit process.
• Proactively identify process improvements related to Tools, Process and Reports and recommend solutions to stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned (e.g. Contract review (as part of Onboarding process for new customers and carriers and/or support Claims process)
  
  

• Prior experience working directly with customers/carriers
• Experience in transportation and logistics is an asset
• Strong communicator, ability to communicate with internal and external customers/carriers
• Excellent problem resolution skills
• Strong analytical understanding
• Ability to support and deliver documentation to support customer requirements
• Preferred advanced education or equivalent experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Familiarity with ERP systems, TMS platforms, or freight audit systems is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Power BI or data querying tools is an advantage.
• Able to interpret large logistics data and turn it into meaningful information.
