Job Description

The Global Kaizen & Continuous Improvement Leader provides enterprisewide leadership for Kaizen execution, capability development, and governance. This role ensures Kaizen events are strategically aligned, rigorously executed, and deliver sustained business impact across regions, functions, and value streams. The leader owns the global Kaizen operating model, including standards, competencies, governance, and best‑practice deployment. Assuring Kaizen is a repeatable, measurable engine for quality, cost, delivery, safety, and customer experience improvement. This position reports to the Global Continuous Improvement Director and is based in the international zone (India, Philippines, East Asia)

EnterpriseWide Kaizen Leadership & Business Impact

  • Ensure Kaizen activity is tightly aligned to enterprise strategy, quality priorities, and financial objectives. Partner with senior leaders to translate business problems into focused Kaizen opportunities.
  • Lead and deploy global, cross‑functional Kaizen events (3–5 days) addressing high‑impact quality, cost, delivery, safety, and customer issues. Ensure Kaizen events deliver quantified results within 60 days, with validated problem statements, measurable outcomes, and sustained controls.
  • Act as the senior facilitator and coach, enabling teams to identify root causes, design robust countermeasures, and achieve consensus-driven execution.

Kaizen Effectiveness Competency & Governance

  • Define and maintain global Kaizen standards, including event selection criteria, facilitation methodology, deliverable expectations, and closure rigor. Implement mechanisms to verify effectiveness, including benefit validation, control plans, standard work integration, and post‑Kaizen tracking.
  • Own and continuously improve the Global Kaizen Competency Framework, certify, coach, and mentor Kaizen leaders and practitioners to ensure consistent quality of execution globally.
  • Identify, validate, and institutionalize best‑in‑class Kaizen practices across sites, regions, and value streams. Create systems to share, replicate, and standardize successful Kaizen solutions globally.

Required Technical Expertise (Hard Skills)

  • Lean & Six Sigma Mastery: Deep expertise in Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies; Black Belt, L1 or L2 electrifier or equivalent required. Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, 8 Wastes, Line Architecture, One‑Piece Flow, Standard Work, Poka‑Yoke, Jidoka, PFMEA, and Statistical Analysis.
  • AI : Prompt Engineering , SE systems, Digital Tool expertise
  • Program & Change Management: Ability to plan, execute, govern, and sustain large‑scale improvement initiatives.

Leadership & Behavioral Capabilities (Soft Skills)

  • Enterprise Leadership Presence: Ability to lead without authority across geographies, functions, and seniority levels. Effectively operates across cultures, maturity levels, and business models.
  • Facilitation Excellence: Drives focused, inclusive, and disciplined problem‑solving discussions. Clearly articulates purpose, progress, and results to executives and frontline teams alike. High emotional intelligence and ability to manage resistance to change.
  • Strong Business Acumen: Deep understanding of financial impact, tradeoffs, risk, and operational leverage.

Experience Profile

  • 10–15+ years leading enterprise‑level change and continuous improvement in End‑to‑end supply chain, manufacturing, and customer‑facing operations. Experience leading people and global initiatives prefer formal people management
  • Bachelor /master’s degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain Planning.
