Job Description:

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement digital signal processing (DSP) solutions across both application-level software and embedded platforms. The role involves researching DSP techniques, architecting and optimizing algorithms, and ensuring efficient deployment. You will also partner closely with hardware, embedded software, and system teams to integrate, validate, and test end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and clearly define problem statements, and propose effective algorithmic solutions
  • Research, design, implement, and optimize digital signal processing algorithms
  • Document methodologies and communicate technical approaches clearly to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers / interns in digital signal processing

Requirements:

  • Demonstrates strong expertise in traditional digital signal processing, including time-series analysis, audio and speech processing, image processing, baseband signal processing, signal modulation/demodulation, encoding/decoding, etc.
  • Possesses solid foundation in applied mathematics.
  • Proficient in signal processing simulation and modeling using tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Python.
  • Experienced in implementing signal processing algorithms on embedded platforms, including microcontrollers, microprocessors, and FPGAs.
  • With practical experience in applying AI/ML techniques to signal processing applications.

Nice to Have:

  • MS or PhD in Engineering / Computer Science with focus on Digital Signal Processing
