QA Specialist - Toll Carmona Cavite

Position Overview

The QA Specialist – Toll in Verification and Documentation experienced and highly analytical. These uphold the safety regulations of the company and verify the production process to guarantee that all products meet quality expectations.

Performs regular product evaluations, record inspection results, work on technical documents in order to ensure timely, recommends improvements, relevant and meaningful feedback to the production process and identify issues in the production under products or services. To further demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent technical analysis.

Responsibilities

QMS System/Documentation

• Document quality assurance activities and prepare audit reports.
• Review manuals, procedures, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with product and service requirements.
• Record inspection results, monitoring findings, and quality performance data.
• Maintain quality documents and records in accordance with company standards.
• Support QMS implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  

Food Safety and Quality

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, quality requirements, GMP, and company policies.
• Conduct inspections and quality assessments on incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products.
• Address quality concerns and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Reject non-conforming materials and products that fail to meet specifications.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
• Guide production personnel on quality control and food safety requirements.
• Monitor production processes and verify compliance with approved procedures.
• Investigate and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in trials, validations, and improvement projects related to toll manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to achieve quality and food safety objectives.
  
  

Training and Development

• Ensure employee participation in quality, food safety, GMP, and compliance-related training programs.
• Facilitate refresher courses, orientations, and food safety awareness sessions.
• Maintain training records and support competency development activities.
  
  

Monthly Performance

• Prepare monthly reports on GMP Audit Ratings, Pest Control, Environmental Monitoring, Van Sanitation Audits, Process Validation, and Toll Plant verification activities.
• Monitor and report quality performance indicators and compliance results.
• Escalate operational quality concerns and non-conformances to the QA Toll Supervisor.
• Support management reviews by providing quality data, findings, and improvement recommendations.
  
  

Education

• Bachelor Degree of Science preferably in Food Science or related field (Meat Science, Biology, Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Food Technology etc.).
  
  

Experience

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in food manufacturing under Quality Assurance
  
  

Skills

Tagalog and English Language Fluency a must

Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance
