Job Description

This role will primarily support sourcing and recruitment operations to meet the hiring demands of Appen’s onsite projects. The role focuses on identifying and attracting qualified candidates through various sourcing channels, building partnerships with local agencies and government institutions, and supporting recruitment. Experience in other HR facets is considered an advantage.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead sourcing initiatives to attract qualified candidates through job postings, online platforms, community outreach, and local partnerships
  • Build and maintain partnerships with local recruitment agencies, government offices, and community organizations to strengthen candidate pipelines
  • Coordinate closely with the Team Lead regarding hiring requirements and sourcing strategies
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach, phone screening, and verification of candidate availability, requirements, and compensation expectations
  • Track, endorse, and monitor candidate progress throughout the recruitment process
  • Ensure candidates complete all required documentation and pre-employment requirements prior to onboarding
  • Maintain and update the recruitment database, ensuring accurate tracking of applicants from sourcing to onboarding· Provide regular updates to the hiring team regarding sourcing progress and candidate pipeline status
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional engagement.
  • Support other recruitment and HR-related tasks as needed to achieve project hiring targets


Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment and volume hiring, preferably in IT, AI, or tech-driven organizations
  • Proven track record in sourcing, screening, and managing candidates across multiple channels
  • Experience maintaining recruitment databases, HR records, and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Experience recruiting for a range of roles, from agent-level positions to corporate and management roles, including Team Leads, E-commerce Specialists, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators.


Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail in tracking candidates and recruitment processes
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR/recruitment software (HRIS, ATS)
  • Ability to manage multiple hiring pipelines and onboarding timelines simultaneously
  • Analytical skills to monitor recruitment metrics, generate reports, and improve sourcing strategies
  • Professional, discreet, and able to handle confidential candidate information


Work Requirements

  • Amenable to onsite work in Bacoor City, Cavite.
  • Willing to work flexible schedules, including overtime or weekends, as required.
