The Associate Analyst will be responsible for managing the execution of materials planning from point of forecast through the delivery of products to the customers. They will be working in concert with global suppliers, purchasing, engineering, global manufacturing operations and warehouse team to ensure steady supply of products to ADI customers as well as providing logistics and customer service support to global business units. They will help in developing and maintaining KPIs to track planning and manufacturing performance.
Educational Background:
(List minimum education and required discipline, e.g. Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree required preferably Engineering; Supply Chain Management certification is a plus
With industry certification or good scholastic record is an advantage.
Experience: (List minimum number of years and field of exposure, licensure, registration, and/ or certification required).
0-3 years experience in semiconductor supply chain or factory planning role, with manufacturing exposure.
Knowledge, skill and abilities: (List the competencies the employees must have to be successful in the position)
Exposure in PCB manufacturing process and Supplier Management is a plus.
Demonstrates knowledge in Demand Planning, Material inventory management.
Proficient in IBP Systems, SAP ECC/ S4 HANA, Qlikview, Tableau, Power BI and MS Office Suite.
Excellent in Cross cultural communication and with extensive exposure on global customer service environment
Team-oriented and goal driven with a strong ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated; an analytical thinker with a strong ability to execute while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Major Duties & Responsibilities: (List the major responsibilities of the position. Most jobs have 8 major job responsibilities that represent the essential function of the position.)*
Provides material planning support to Engineering’s Qualification/Transfer Project of Eval boards from worldwide suppliers to a new supplier in the Philippines.
Supply the required ADI consigned ICs for NEW, UNRELEASED and RELEASED to Eval board contract manufacturers (CM) and ADI WW sites.
Monitors the shipment of ADI consigned ICs/Eval board to the suppliers to ensure timely delivery and receipt.
Close coordination with Compliance and WH team for the updated and re-certification of CM trade licenses, import and export permits to avoid delivery delays.
Communicate with the suppliers any delay on the delivery of ADI consigned ICs/EVB.
Coordinates with demand planners/analysts for the replenishment of sample plants of ADI consigned ICs and enters expedite requests as necessary.
Source ADI ICs for delivery constraints encounter may it be internally or externally (Distis, CM Inventory utilization, BU/PL stocks, Sample Center, Residuals, etc.)
Life-Cycle clean up of consigned ICs based on the current material sales status.
Provides weekly and quarterly report of received requests, shipment, open orders and inventory consignment health of ADI IC.
Perform deep dive root cause analysis of delivery / manufacturing performance to identify “areas of concern”.
Present findings and recommendations to different levels of management for decision and issue resolutions.
Lead cross-functional teams to resolve known issues with the goal of improving performance.
Initiates improvements on processes, as necessary. Ensure the company’s commitment on environmental management, health and safety is observed and performed.
Be aware of the company’s quality and environmental policies.
