The Role: Project Engineer
Overview: The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the successful execution of customer projects by providing technical expertise, project coordination, and cross‑functional alignment throughout the E2E execution lifecycle. The role ensures that technical requirements, schedules, and deliverables are clearly defined, coordinated, and executed in line with project objectives, quality standards, and customer expectations.
Working closely with Functional Managers, engineering teams, procurement, manufacturing, and other stakeholders, the Project Engineer acts as a central point of coordination between technical execution and project management. The role typically manages small to medium‑complexity solutions or defined work packages within larger initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, technical accuracy, and effective communication
What will you do?
- Coordinate technical and engineering activities to support the E2E execution, ensuring alignment withproject scope, schedule, and quality targets.
- Review and interpret technical requirements, specifications, and drawings to support solutionimplementation and issue resolution.
- Support internal stakeholders in planning, tracking, and coordinating project activities, risks, anddependencies.
- Act as a liaison between engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and external stakeholders toensure smooth information flow and issue resolution.
- Monitor technical deliverables and milestones, escalating deviations related to scope, schedule, orquality as required.
- Support technical handover, documentation, and close‑out activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by applying standard project and engineeringprocesses and capturing lessons learned.
Who would be successful?
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong technical foundation combined with structured coordination skills and the ability to managemultiple priorities in a project‑driven environment.
- Proven experience supporting end‑to‑end project execution, from order handover through delivery andclose‑out.
- Demonstrates a strong cross‑functional mindset, effectively coordinating with multiple stakeholders toensure technical and project alignment.
- Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to issue resolutionto ensure on‑time delivery, scope adherence, and quality standards.
- Solid background in interpreting schematic diagrams and single‑line diagrams.
- Relevant electrical trade, engineering, and end‑to‑end execution experience.
- Highly organized and systematic, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, under pressure, and with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates effective multitasking skills with strong planning and prioritization capabilities.
- High level of attention to detail and strong commitment to quality output.
- Team‑oriented, collaborative, and proactive in supporting and contributing to team success.
