As a GSE Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair, overhaul, and preventive maintenance of motorized vehicles and aircraft ground support equipment. Your work ensures safe, reliable, and efficient ground operations that keep flights moving on time.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure that 1Aviation’s Mission, Vision, and Values are achieved.
• Promote and ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Security, and Customer Service standards in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Inspect mechanical systems and related equipment to diagnose malfunctions and identify corrective actions.
• Repair, overhaul, or modify mechanical and electrical components of motorized vehicles and ground servicing equipment.
• Test and adjust mechanical systems and assemblies following manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
• Execute assigned tasks efficiently and cost-effectively to maximize company resources.
• Accomplish and sign off required company and regulatory records and maintenance documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on all assigned ground support equipment.
• Secure, update, and maintain valid ramp operations and AMA-GECN driving permits.
• Ensure completeness and serviceability of assigned hand tools.
• Assist the GSE Supervisor in completing tasks efficiently and economically.
• Dispatch and receive motorized GSE in good working condition to and from equipment operators.
• Assist in BTW aircraft full ground support operations, including GPU, ACU, and ASU usage.
• Conduct weekly inspections of motorized GSE.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the GSE Supervisor.
  
  

An ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Background & Experience

• At least 2nd-year college level
• With relevant automotive or mechanical experience
  
  

Certifications & Licenses

• TESDA NC II Certification is an advantage
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License (Restrictions 1, 2, 3)
• Restrictions 4 & 8 are a strong advantage
